The Beem Family Reunion is coming up Memorial Day, May 26, 2025.
It's almost reunion time! I hope everyone who is able can join us. Please share this with any family that my not be in our Facebook group. As a reminder here are the details: Reunion will be on Monday, May 26, 2025 at Waterfall Park in Independence. Our reservation is for 8am - 2pm. Let's plan on picnic time for 11am, that gives us time to visit and eat. Families attending should bring a dish to share and maybe a chair. Beem family fund is running pretty low, our current balance is $145.27. We will still be able to provide table wear, drinks and chicken. However, without donations or some kind of fundraising the future of our reunions is in jeopardy. If you have any fundraising ideas, or are able to make a donation to the Beem Family Fund - I will have the donation jar at the reunion, or I am able to accept funds via Meta pay (Facebook Messenger), PayPal (Michelle Valdez), Venmo (@Michelle-Valdez-0225), CashApp ($michellevaldez0225) or if there are other methods you have use let me know and we'll figure it out. If you want send a check I can give you my address separately, contact Michelle Valdez.
Family Updates:
Cousin Larry Beem passed March 30, 2025. Larry requested that no services be held for him. If it's your wish to send cards or letters to Jewel, please privately message Kathy for the mailing address.
Cousin Ray Ellen Simmons passed away April 30, 2025 at 11:30 am. She had been hospitalized because of a broken leg from a fall and was in the hospital, went to rehab and developed pneumonia. She went home and was unable to care for herself then went to a nursing home and passed away in Kansas City, no information yet about services.
